"We Are The CHAMPIONS" (makes you want to sing)

Sydney's softball team "The BlueJays" took overall 3rd/4th grade girls softball CHAMPS.
They won their first game which would take them to the final 2. We had to play the same team twice in order to win completley.
It was so intense...we had to play the "PEDROS" (an inner Ogden city team), they were a little intimidating due to the chanting, matching uniforms (down to the socks..even their coaches matched), their true live bull dog mascot and their fans.
The first game we totally won, by everyones surprise. We did SOOOO good. The next game was it...this would place either us or the pedros on top. Last inning we are down by 5, but there was 12 min. left of the game...so the ump calls for another inning. The Pedros coaches went crazy. So we have last ups and are down 5, with one out left Sydney gets up to bat and BOOM...gets on base, Kia her best friend is next and does the same, then a little girl who has not yet made it to first gets on base....then comes Jackie Jones our pitcher....GRAND SLAM!!! Still down by one our girls pull through and we win by 2!! I go totally wild and do the full on toyota jump and am screaming my lungs out. THEY DID IT...they won a team who has not lost in the last 6 years.
TOTAL EXCITEMENT...the girls were so happy. 3 Games in a row and they won them all (even in the heat...good job girls)
Then off to BIG ROCK for the celebration... what a fun memory. Thanks girls for having so much fun and bringing your families along for the ride. WE LOVE YOU!
